CATT Director Provides Keynote Speech

The Center for Advanced Transportation Technology (CATT) director Philip Tarnoff provided the keynote address to more than 100 attendees at the Baltimore Regional Signal Form which was held November 5, 2008 at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum, Maryland.

The signal forum which was sponsored by the Baltimore Regional Transportation Board (BRTB) provided sessions to discuss topics such as timing and detection; proposed MUTCD revisions for signals and impacts on pedestrian signal timing; battery backup; signal construction and maintenance; LED- equipment, maintenance, and replacement; and accessible pedestrian signals.
