CITE is not Unseen at ITSA

The Consortium for ITS Training and Education (CITE) attended the recent Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA) 2009 Annual Meeting which was held June 1-3 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. As an exhibitor with the I-95 Corridor Coalition CITE drew a crowd of its own offering a puzzling challenge, free tootsie pops and beach bags. Besides the freebies, CITE offered information about the many online courses it offers as well as information about the popular blended courses. Blended courses combine the best features of both instructor-led and on-line instruction.  They offer live discussions with an instructor through conference calls, interaction with other students, convenient on-line course materials, and a specific time frame to complete the course. For more information about year’s Annual Meeting visit ITS America’s Event Highlight’s page.
