Dutch Delegation to Visit

The Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab) will play host to delegation members of the Rijkswaterstaat Centre for Transport and Navigation on Tuesday November 17, 2009. The CATT Lab will demonstrate tools such as its 3-dimensional, real time traffic monitoring (virtual helicopter), timelines for real-time and historical incident visualization, and virtual incident management training, just to name a few. The nearly three hour visit allows the delegation to participate in the demonstration as well as observe the faculty, staff, and students’ working on the Lab’s many ongoing projects. After the delegation’s CATT Lab visit a tour of the University of Maryland College Park campus is planned.
